The last time Hapoel Hyde Park faced off against Groß Misconduct, they took all six points, scored seven goals and kept two clean sheets. They met again yesterday in an exciting six-goal thriller, but this time it was Groß Misconduct who earned the points.

A win for Hapoel would have given them the opportunity to go seven points clear at the top of the table but due to the Medics & Dentists winning their game, the gap was reduced to two points.
Before the game, Groß Misconduct sat bottom of the table, whilst Hapoel were flying high, winning three of their first four games.
Groß Misconduct started very strong and went 1-0 up following a great passage of play. Hapoel tried to equalise in the first 10 minutes, but failed to hit the target.
The lead was then doubled from a backheel goal from a set piece. Hapoel's best chance of the game came through a Jonothan Daniel strike that was cleared off the line earning a corner.
After a slow start, Josh Morris then took things into his own hands with a superb strike hitting the underside of the crossbar and over the line.
Seconds later, Groß Misconduct scored their third goal- an easy tap-in as the winger and striker combined nicely for the home team. This was a brilliant game for a neutral as the fifth goal of the game was scored - this time for Hapoel.
Toby Antony’s electric run down the line was topped off nicely with a brilliant finish, making it 3-2 at half time.
Hapoel Hyde Park dominated the beginning of the second half, coming extremely close to an equaliser. A missed header from several yards out was the next big moment in the match, this time for Groß Misconduct.
With 15 minutes to go after dominating the second half, Hapoel Hyde Park's mistake cost them as they conceded. Despite changing to a more attacking formation to try and salvage points for the title race, they suffered their first defeat of the season.
Manager, Eytan Millan reflected on the game by saying “They played well, but overall probably our worst performance of the season.”
Millan then followed up by speaking about next week’s huge game against Arab Society but reiterated each game is important regardless of the opponent. “The closer we get to the league title the more excited I get, there is no game I am not excited for!”
After already beating Arab Society at the beginning of the season, Hapoel will be desperate to do the double over them, extending their lead at the top of the table heading into the final weeks of the season.
